Abstract (English):
the article reflects the main directions of modernization of traction rolling stock in open joint stock company «Russian Railways», on the Northern Railway and in the operational locomotive depot of Lost, on the basis of which students of the Vologda Technical School of Railway Transport undergo practical training. For the period 2018-2021, data on the number and types of traction rolling stock that entered service are given. The description of innovative processes related to the modernization of traction rolling stock on TCHE-11-11 occurring in this period and planned for 2022 is given. The information was prepared based on the materials of the production tour and interviews with the leaders of TCHE-11. The advantages of the electric locomotive «Ermak» in comparison with electric locomotives of other series in operation are highlighted. The measures carried out on the basis of the depot to train personnel for the operation of new locomotives are described. The results of field tests of the software and hardware complex of assistance to the driver are presented
