This article discusses the use of immersive technologies, such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), in the professional training (advanced training) of transport industry specialists. The analysis focuses on the key advantages of these technologies, including the safety of the learning process, the development of practical skills in a controlled environment, and the reduction of operational costs. The article provides specific examples of VR/AR applications and identifies promising areas for development. Additionally, it outlines a structured list of challenges that may hinder the implementation of these technologies.
