Abstract:
Abstract. This article describes the focus on the unity of spiritual self-determination and intellectual knowledge in the unique philosophical, religious, and ethical teaching of “Russian Cosmism”. The works of philosopher and writer K. E. Tsiolkovsky served as the basis for the development of rocket technologies for space exploration. Some archaism in his conception does not diminish the technical and moral value of his ideas for the development of astronautics.
