The article discusses changes in the field of digitalization of the transport and logistics ecosystem and management of operational work, in particular, in connection with the new global geopolitical agenda. The closure of air traffic and the transfer of passenger and cargo flows to rail transport, the loss of access to some foreign IT technologies and products, as well as the introduced tax incentives for R&D, require adjustments to the digital transformation strategy of Russian Railways and transport education.
