Abstract (English):
The automatic sign recognition system combines heterogeneous subsystems – optical, recording, creating (with pixelation and RGB-layering) content matrices, and computational, to obtain the required indicators from the matrices. The effectiveness depends on the content of the sign and the distortion of the transformation. The paper shows the results of calculations, where the image of the sign is taken in the popular .bmp format, and its integral moments and invariants are the coordinates of the corresponding point in multidimensional space. The distance of points in hyperspace is used for conclusions about the recognizability of signs.
