Objective: to consider the used, implemented and promising technologies on the Russian railway network, to study their role in the technological complex of railways. Methods: the method of analyzing digital innovations is used, the use of which can increase production performance, reduce costs, including time, and increase the level of automation of processes. Results: an analysis of the digital technologies used has shown the modernity of the technologies used on the Russian railway network, which has a positive effect on the quality of customer service and the image of the company. Practical importance: Intensive and extensive development of digital technologies has a positive effect on the operation of the Russian railway network and contributes to increasing the attractiveness of the carrier for customers.
