The article is devoted to the psychological analysis of the difficulties of reforming modern transport education in the context of the actively implemented digitalization of the educational process. The article considers the principle of coordinating innovations with the fundamental principles of psychology and pedagogy, which are focused on stimulating the creative nature of students’ thinking. The emphasis is placed on the activation of interpersonal contacts between teachers and students in the educational process.
