    <p>Цель: Электроэнергетическая система южной части Ирака играет ключевую роль в обеспечении региона энергией, необходимой для его социально-экономического развития. Однако существующая инфраструктура характеризуется децентрализованным расположением питающих центров, которые функционируют с ограниченной координацией между собой. Это приводит к нестабильности энергоснабжения, частым отключениям электроэнергии; потерям энергии при транспортировке; ограничению интеграции возобновляемых источников энергии (например, солнечной и ветровой). Методы: Одним из эффективных решений для преодоления этих проблем является объединение (закольцовывание) питающих центров энергосистемы, представляющее собой объединение всех питающих центров в единую сеть. Результаты: Этот подход позволит значительно повысить устойчивость энергосистемы к перегрузкам и аварийным отключениям, обеспечив бесперебойную подачу электроэнергии в регионе. В статье рассматриваются основные преимущества закольцовывания, включая снижение энергопотерь, оптимизацию распределения нагрузки, экономическую эффективность и интеграцию новых источников энергии, в том числе возобновляемых. Особое внимание уделяется техническим аспектам реализации, таким как строительство новых линий электропередачи, модернизация подстанций, внедрение цифровых технологий управления и подготовка квалифицированных кадров. Практическая значимость: Объединение различных центров снабжения, расположенных в южной части Ирака, в единую взаимосвязанную энергосистему представляет собой чрезвычайно важный маневр, направленный на укрепление энергетической безопасности в этом конкретном регионе, который столкнулся с многочисленными проблемами в области энергоснабжения и распределения энергии. Этот инновационный подход не только повысит надежность и стабильность энергоснабжения в регионе, но и заложит прочную основу для устойчивого и продолжительного экономического роста и инициатив в области развития, необходимых для будущего процветания региона. Успешное осуществление этого амбициозного проекта требует значительных инвестиционных ресурсов и согласованных усилий многих заинтересованных сторон, однако существенные преимущества, которые он обещает дать в долгосрочной перспективе, делают его не только необходимым, но и исключительно обнадеживающим для общего развития региона. Такая интеграция имеет серьезные последствия, поскольку она не только решает неотложные энергетические проблемы, но и открывает путь к созданию более устойчивой инфраструктуры, способной поддерживать различные виды экономической деятельности и повышать качество жизни местного населения.</p>

   <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
    <p>Purpose: The electricity system of southern Iraq plays a key role in providing the region with the energy it needs for its socio-economic development. However, the existing infrastructure is characterized by decentralized feeder centres that operate with limited coordination among themselves. This leads to energy supply instability and frequent blackouts; loss of energy during transportation; limited integration of renewable energy sources (e.g., solar and wind). Methods: One of the most effective solutions to overcome these problems is to unify (loop) the power supply centres. This involves integrating all feeder centres into a single network. Results: This approach will significantly increase the resilience of the power system to overloads and emergency shutdowns ensuring uninterrupted power supply in the region. The article provides a comprehensive overview of the key benefits of looping, including reduced energy losses, optimized load sharing, cost-effectiveness and the integration of new energy sources including renewables. Key focus areas include the technical aspects of implementation, such as the construction of new transmission lines, the modernization of substations, the introduction of digital control technologies and the training of qualified personnel. Practical significance: The integration of feeder centres located in southern Iraq into a single interconnected power system is a critical manoeuvre aimed at strengthening energy security in this region, which is facing numerous challenges in the field of energy supply and distribution. This innovative approach will enhance the reliability and stability of the region’s energy supply and lay the foundation for sustainable economic growth and initiative development, which are essential for the region’s future prosperity. The successful implementation of this ambitious project requires significant investment of resources and a concerted effort by many stakeholders. However, the significant benefits it promises in the long term make it not only necessary but also extremely promising for the overall development of the region. This integration has significant potential, offering solutions to urgent energy challenges while also paving the way for more sustainable infrastructure that can support various economic activities and enhance the quality of life for local populations</p>
