Possible solutions to the problem of increasing competitiveness and attracting new cargo owners are being considered. The concept is described when assessing the economic efficiency of a company to take into account the total costs aggregated by the methods of calculating the applied costs, taking into account the volume of return on investment. The proposed approach allows for the most complete consideration of several objectives. Its advantage is the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of the company's activities from the standpoint of a systematic approach, based on quantitative characteristics and identified patterns. The solution of this problem will allow us to assess the effectiveness of the logistics process, outline rational ways to reduce costs, assess the quality of the company's functioning and identify the level of competitiveness of the company.
