Annotation:
The article is devoted to the method of optimization of the braking modes of controlled cuts of cars within the group of interest, which, unlike the existing ones, takes into account the influence of random factors and can be used for operational management of the process of rolling-down of cuts of cars. The article proposes the criterion of optimization of braking modes for cuts of cars under the deviation of the actual parameters of cuts of cars from the calculated values and under the inaccuracy of braking positions implementation of specified braking modes. The study uses simulation modelling of the process of cuts of cars rolling-down. The iterative method is used to optimize the modes of cuts of cars braking. Considering the effects of random factors, that influence on the cut of cars during the rollingdown, the optimization of braking mode for cut of cars allows to increase the accuracy of the speed of cuts of cars control. The study results can be used in developing software for technical and economic evaluation of structures and maintenance support of the gravity hump within the design systems, as well as within the automated systems of marshalling yards operation.
